It's the Companion Cube! 
This is a quick little project that I did today to try and keep my Maya skills sharp but not overwhelm myself in work.... The Companion Cube is from the game Portal, by Valve Software. You can read about the cube and the games here. theportalwiki.com/wiki/Weighted_Companion_Cube I made the Portal version (not the Portal 2 one, there are some differences). I spent most of the time figuring out the best way to layout the UVs.... Dirty buggers....
